Questions the screen should answer

Three questions keep a login from pretending to be a close.

Finding 01Asked of the panes

What should the screen show on a Tuesday? A closed month in one pane, and the lines still in motion somewhere else, so you can tell them apart.

Does the bank feed finish the month? No. It delivers lines. A person still names the odd charge.

Whose name should stay on the books? Yours. The desk is a guest in a file you can still open.

Finding 02What a screen cannot do

Keeping books on a screen is ordinary work and nobody here holds a CPA license. An audit, a review or a compilation of your statements has to be signed by a firm that holds one, and if a lender has asked for that you'll hear it on the first call rather than after a subscription has started.

A bank feed does not finish a month on its own, whatever the marketing pane implies. Payday runs on a provider that stays in your name. The rest of the limits sit on the disclosures page.
